Having no credit is just as bad as having poor credit.

You need to have access to some money down (unless you’re doing a VA loan).

You can borrow against your 401K, in most cases.

You can receive gifts from family members for your down payment.

Job jumping can make it difficult to get a mortgage.

Your family (or parents) can help you by co-signing on your loan.

Picking the right realtor will make all the difference.
